Mixed Media Collages – Available on Artsicle

As promised, I’ve just made my Curiosities Series available for purchase on Artsicle.com. There are 14 original collages still available for purchase in this series of 18 (11″X14″ matted and framed).

Here’s a description of the series:

This series began in the printshop by creating a library of images that suggest the idea of strangeness and wonder in our natural environment. Images were printed onto Japanese rice paper and cut up into collage materials used to build compositions that abstracted their narrative qualities. Layers of ink were then built up on top of the collages using the screen printing process as a more intuitive and painterly method of working. The end result is a series of small and large mixed-media works that aim to deconstruct representational images into formal elements of texture and color.  ( artwork: 8″ X 10″ / mat & frame: 11″ X 14″)

* Reproductions are available as archival pigment prints in signed additions of 100. Each are ready to frame with 11 X 14″ mats, acid-free foam backing and archival sleeves).

Here’s a shot of the entire set: (the cost per print goes down when purchased in multiples)
